Vintage Kiekaefer Mercury Mercruiser Gauges Instruments Tach Speedo Amps Fuel
Rare set of Instruments from A Mercury Mercruiser powered boat out of the 60’s. I believe they were made by Air Guide, or Aqua Meter, but not sure. Tach is for 4, 6, or 8 cylinder 4 stroke, (not for 2 stroke outboards). Tach is fairly accurate, and tested on 4, 6, & 8 cylinder settings. Instruments have been tested using Keyser/Medallion tester. Speedo tests good, 40 mph at 15 psi pressure, very accurate. Cast aluminum body with chrome plated brass bezel. All lights work too. All test good EXCEPT fuel gauge, as I cannot figure out how to wire it up to make it work. It has something to do with the 2 terminals under the mounting bracket. Gauge will move to full mark playing around with the terminal connections. I have labeled the amp meter connections. Instruments will work with OMC, Volvo, or other inboards. 3 Lenses have been replaced with plexiglas, as the original plastic ones have yellowed. I will include the old ones with the order.
